Days of Creation Photographer Policy

The Herrin Family at Days of Creation loves to share our farm setting with folks taking pictures.   The guidelines below are for photos and videos being taken for commercial purposes.  (As always, if you are taking personal pictures for non-commercial use, SNAP AWAY!  And, we’d love to see them shared to social media.)

For the Pros:

  • We support hourly bookings with the minimum being 2 hours.

    • The fee starts at $75 for 2 hours and $25 for every hour thereafter.

  • The fee is for the booking time slot.  We limit the number of photographers on-site at one time.  Therefore, we need you to begin and end on time.   When scheduling with us, let us know how many sessions and how long you need.

  • Book down below! It will hold your credit card information, but you will not be charged until the time you check in with us. At that time, you also have the option to pay in cash, if preferred. For questions, call or text Sheryl at 912-256-1167.

  • When you arrive, check in with us and pay your booking fee.

  • Understand that our primary business is providing a fun family experience for families getting Christmas trees.  So, keep this in mind while trying to get your perfect shots.  To that end, the following limitations apply during sales-season hours (See Operating Hours):

    • No vehicles will be allowed beyond the parking lot.

    • Small props that you can hand-carry to the field are allowed, but please do not set up any station that will interfere with families looking for their perfect Christmas tree.

  • We will work with you to re-schedule for rain-outs.  But, please understand the best time slots may be filled.  So, working between showers on your original schedule may be preferable.  You are pros; that is your call.

  • You are welcome to use any photo op stations that we have set up.  Just be courteous to farm customers regarding the amount of time that you take.

  • Our motto at Days of Creation is “We’re in the family business; come make a memory!”  Your clients (and you, too, for that matter) are welcome to participate in any normal activities happening at the farm at the time.  Take a hayride.  Drink some hot chocolate or apple cider. Roast a marshmallow. Check out the farm animals.  Eat a picnic lunch.  Have fun!
